iPhone cradle extension kit for Gateways

On 1st November 2011 as the part of its cradle range Dension announced its new iPhone cradle accessory.

The iPhone cradle extension kit is a customed designed Cradle for iPhone 4s, 4, 3Gs and 3G. It is much more a car mount or any previous Dension cradle accessories. It is an active handsfree kit, an iPhone mount, that charges the iPhone and ensures Bluetooth connection to the Gateway car multimedia interface.

Due to the Bluetooth capability and its built in microphone hands free calling happens through the car speakers and requires no further mics.

Dension iPhone cradle extension kit allows flexible mount both horizontally and vertically. Basically it is a dashmount accessory but, as a complementary product, windscreen mount accessory is also available to it.

Dension has launched the Audi Gateway MMI3 enabler tool

On 1st October 2011 Dension has launched the Gateway MMI3 enabler tool and interface. The tool activates the factory AMI function of those Audi MMI3 car radios that has been disabled by default.

Previously car audio interfaces could not support the latest versions of the Audi MMI controller unit in the high profile Audis. If the AMI function of your Audi MMI3 car audio had not been activated in the factory you do not have the opportunity to connect portable audio devices to the car audio.
Dension engineers are famous for their excellence and innovative ideas. It seemes like they did well again by coming up with an outstanding solution for those Audi MMI3 owners who were not able to acces the audio multimedia interface function of their factory MMI3 car stereo.

The Dension Gateway MMI3 enabler tool activates the AMI function of those Audi MMI3 car radios that has been disabled by default. It comes with a Gateway car multimedia adapter that offers the same functions as the factory audio multimedia interface (AMI): iPod, iPhone and USB device connection, charging and even full device control using the original MMI surface of the car.

How to control your vehicle safely with your Phone in the hand?

Dension has always been looking for creative solutions – even for problems that did not exist before. In 2005 Dension appeared on the consumer electronics market with a unique solution, a technical breakthrough creating a new category for the in-car digital media entertainment.
Dension engineers can never have enough, of course! So in 2011 they came out with an outstanding idea again: to create a unique multi-purpose remote control system allowing you to control your RC car, boat, tank, truck or other scale model vehicle with your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch using WiFi. It is called WiRC, the Dension WiFi RC reciver.
So what makes this system so special? First of all it is multi-purpose, as it is not specialized for a single vehicle, but is compatible with almost any standard RC models.
Hardware
Talking about a high tech solution first you need to have hardware installed in your existing RC car, don’t you?
No problem, that’s exactly what we have prepared for you. All you need to do is to replace the existing radio receiver with WiRC, connect the servo(s), ESC, or whatever you may want to control on one of the eight PPM channels, and install the whole system with the WiFi adapter and a camera.
Software
Talking about an iPhone compatible gadget I am sure you have already found out that the software can be nothing else but an app. In this case it is a free app – available from Apple’s Appstore called WiRC. Just download it and control your vehicle using the touch screen joysticks or the device’s gyros, watch live camera feed on the screen, define the control sensitivity, and even more.

Above the already mentioned 8 PPM channels, WiRC has further 4 digital in and digital out channels, 1 analog input, a microphone input and a speaker output as well. These features make the WiRC a really outstanding solution as its capabilities are beyond belief.
Now Dension is introducing the single WiRC receiver-set on the market, but from September 2011 Dension is launching two fully equipped models too: a Zengő-Dension Team race car with WiRC control, and an Off-road car you can drive in the garden or even indoors.

Dension has launched BMW Video in Motion Enabler Tool

1st August 2011, Dension expanded its in-car video solutions range by launching Video in Motion enabler tool for BMW F series cars.

Until now you were able to watch video in your F series BMW only on a condition when the vehicle was not moving. At Dension we know the needs of the passengers very well therefore we bring customized solutions for them.

Playing video contents in the car might ensure a peaceful and safe driving by entertaining the passengers, especially when there are children traveling with you.

The Dension in-car video solution range has now been expanded with a new, exclusive product called Video in Motion enabler tool. This is a BMW specific solution allowing the owners to play video contents while driving through the original car radio.
