1st May 2011 Dension has launche its unique and innovative iPhone car kit called 'car dock for iPhone'. Dension Car Dock for iPhone is a custom designed cradle combined with an app, an innovative solution that had been developed to optimise the in-car use of iPhone 4s, 4, 3Gs and 3G and enable the user to make the most of the iPhone on the move.

In 2012 the Dension plug&play product range is extending even more. We have just renewed the car dock for iPhone and in the 2nd quarter we are coming out with a multifuncional car dock for smarphones that comes with the same functionality in a handy hardware and has a widened phone compatibiliy.

Improved iPod, iPhone, smartphone Universal car mount

With the new product line the nano-vacuum stickers have improved so much that during an independent test it was able to hold an iPhone4 (!) on a very bumpy 20° uphill road all the way up over 500 meters (~550 yards).

Dension car dock for iPhone

In May 2011 Dension Audio Systems introduces a new and innovative product called Dension car dock for iPhone.
Dension car dock for iPhone is a custom designed cradle combined with an app. Both of the innovative products were developed to optimise in-car use and enable the user to make the most of the iPhone on the move.
Dension car dock for iPhone is not only a windscreen mount or a dash mount but an easy-to-use car audio interface that offers a univarsal in car entertainment solution for iPhone 3, 3GS and 4 users.
The aim to develope this new, functional and aesthetic solution was to make the various functionalities of the iPhone usable for the driver. Dension car dock turns the iPhone into a control centre for all the possible in car communication and entertainment needs.
As a complementary product Dension also developed an app called Car Dock Mode (available from iTunes App Store). This app with its large touch screen icons makes it extremely easy to handle the iPhone in the vehicle and the optional vibration and acoustic feedback ensures a driver friendly in car entertainment solution.
How it works?

• Dock easily: Secure and flexible mounting on windscreen or dash: It also functions as a windscreen mount or a dashmount.

• Listen to excellent sound quality: Dension Car Dock for iPhone can be connected via Aux or FM. Being a plug&play solution it enables any iPhone 3G, 3GS or 4 user to enjoy the music from their iPhone through the car speakers without any special installation process. That is something unusual from Dension as the company is known for its unique fully integrated and invisible in car entertainment solutions, not for Plug & Play products.

• Handsfree calls: Browsing and calling contacts are also possible safely and comfortably. The user can make handsfree calls using the car spakers and the built in microphone of the Car Dock.

• Charge: Yes, the Dension Car Dock also allows charging from 12V (cigar lighter) socket. It is provided even up to 5A or 1A tu support usage.

• Control safely and comfortably: Driving while having Car Dock Mode App on the iPhone usage is safe and comfortable. The app itself provides a driver friendly interface that allows you to play music, make phonecalls and navigate in the car simple and safe. The car dock mode app is already available from iTunes App Store for free.

Car Dock Mode adds an optional control layer to your iPhone that allows you to play music, make phonecalls and navigate use mapping in the car simply and safely. If you upgrade to Car Dock Mode Premium via in app purchase, you will get some additional features like Car Finder, Internet Radio and customizable color settings.
The large icons on the iPhone touch screen and the optional sound and vibration feed-back give you an easy and immediate access to the music, phone and mapping (Google) functions with one touch while your iPhone is docked and charging.
